An alternate one to the woman with the shovel, this one focuses on a different woman who parties, and tries on hundreds of outfits while once in a while flashing (no pun intended) her thong. This video definitely makes a lot more sense than the shovel video, but I’m still a little skeptical on its purpose.

Confusing title, basically I love X.O. Just found over at gorillavsbear, this is basically the best song ever. I’ve never enjoyed a sample in a hip hop song, as much as I do this one. If you can’t recognize the sample it’s Weezer’s “Say It Ain’t So.” If I were you, I’d go listen to this song forever and ever.

I attended The Glow In The Dark Tour in L.A. a few nights ago, and while a review is coming soon… I have a fantastic video for you all to watch. It was probably the highlight of my night, even though it was the very first song of the very first act of the night.

From Nah Right comes a great performance of Lupe’s “Dumb It Down.” For all of you poor souls who have never been to a Lupe show in a cozy venue, I would have to say that this is calm Lupe. The way his energy and lyrics seem to explode is ridiculous. Enjoy this video plus a fun bonus.

This Is Ivy League is a new-ish two man band, out of New York. This Is Ivy League can be described as versatile. They play many instruments including drums, bass, guitar, synths, and trumpet. For a two man band, that is pretty impressive. But what seems to be my favorite part of this catchy pop act, is their use of harmonies. Throughout many tracks most vocals are stacked and layered with harmonies. While this may not be the most exciting music it is extremely catchy and smart.
The band has requested that I only put up their one single, so go out and buy their self titled album on their myspace page.

We give it to you first. The very brand new Ye video. This is perhaps my favorite song of Kanye’s new album, and this video is basically a black and white tour of Chicago. Chicago happens to be one of my favorite cities around, so I of course love this video.

Yes, this is a very odd duo, but the newest Nike commercial now features Saul Williams “List Of Demands.” This is a fantastic song, that really makes the commercial come to life. As if Brandon Roy and Ladainian Tomlinson didn’t (sorry hipsters).

My favorite Lupe song of The Cool, this video really captures the idea of a struggling rapper doing whatever he can to make it big. Enjoy. video after the jump (Read more…)

Wiz Khalifa just put out the video for his song “Say Yeah” and I gotta say, it’s perfect. He’s got the dorkiness of Lupe going for him, and the subtitling of uh…Wiz Khalifa. It’s an excellent video for an excellent song so check it out.
The tape is a project conceived by Gabriel Gutierrez (gzabriel), Macklin Casnoff (caz4mack), Tristan Rodman(pistachionut), Asher Kaplan (ashkap), Willie Schube (lupethefiasco) and Henry Kwapis (hKWAP).
