Ok so you know the drill by now, or maybe you don’t. Anyways we post songs that have been stuck in our head all day.
Macklin: Billy Preston-Nothing From Nothing
I have had this song stuck in my head since this Saturday when I went to see “Be Kind Rewind.” It’s basically the best feel good song ever, which is why it’s my “Tuesdays School Days” pick.
Tristan: Rick Ross - Speedin’ (Remix feat. R. Kelly and Chris Brown)
Cheesy rap songs are the new hip thing. What could be cheesier than “The Boss.” He hustles every day, dealing with people of questionable existence, who may or may not owe him 100 favors. In his newest track, he features R. Kelly. R. Kelly’s verse in this song is better than his line, “I be drilling these chicks like major pain, while I make it rain, damn boy do it again.. OH!” in the Fat Joe “Make It Rain” remix. Best part of this song: “Sittin’ in my living room watching the Grammys, wishing it was me that was on the Grammys.”
Willie: Anamanaguchi- Helix Nebula
This song is good. I like it.

Ok so you know the drill by now, or maybe you don’t. Anyways we post songs that have been stuck in our head all day, or in Willie’s case, of all his life.
Tristan: Black Lips - Cold Hands
My hands have been freezing off all day. This song is all I can think of. I need gloves.
Mr. Willie “The Captain Fiasco” Schube: Saul Williams- Black Stacey
This man rocks my literal striped, un-matching socks. I have been singing this song ever since my car ride this morning.
Macklin: Scarface- On My Block
I was looking through my music yesterday, and came across the album “The Fix” by Scarface. I realized I hadn’t listened to it since 5th grade, so I promptly pressed play and rediscovered my hip-hop love. If you haven’t heard this, check it out and if you have, listen to it again and again.

Sunset Rubdown-Mending The Grown
To tell you the truth, I just can’t get this track out of my head. It’s so catchy and addicting. Check it out, and be sucked into its spell. Also, check out the album “Random Spirit lover.”
Lupe Fiasco- Kick Push
During history class today we watched an extremely boring film on Africa. So instead of taking notes or anything logical like that, I decided to bust out some rhymes. Not my own, but Lupe’s. Since I already wrote the first two verses of “Hip Hop Saved My Life” in science on Monday, I decided to make a medley. I moved through “I Gotcha”, “Put You On Game”, and “Daydreaming” pretty handily, but “Kick, Push” threw me. I got through a little bit but I couldn’t remember a few lines. So it proceeded to be stuck in my head the rest of history, and that’s why it’s my Tuesday School Day choice.

In this segment we will be listing to one song for each Willie, Tristan, and I (Sir. Macklin). We will post three songs each Tuesday, since we have tons of free time on our hands with nothing to do. Enjoy the time passing festivities.
Tristan: Midnight Juggernauts - Into the Galaxy
This song has been my anthem since A-Trak spun it at the infamous Natural History Museum show. It set the dancefloor off. The pounding synths and Klaxon-esque vocals keep the song going. The live drumming really makes a difference, as the real bass sound makes it straight fire. G-L-O-R-I-A.
Macklin: Paul Simon - Diamonds on the Soul of Her Shoes
This song basically rules, and will always rule the END…
Willie: DJ A-Trak - My Lovely Outro
The way A-Trak spins on this track completely blows my mind.
