Xiu Xiu Announce New Record

Jamie Stewart and friends will be releasing Dear God, I Hate Myself, February 23rd on Kill Rock Stars. Stewart is joined by Angela Seo on piano, synth, and drum programming; with production handled by himself and Deerhoof’s Greg Saunier. A couple of the tracks were recorded primarily on a Nintendo DS, which will either sound really cool, or absolutely terrible. Stewart also brings in the Immaculata Catholic School Orchestra to perform on a track, something I’m really eager to hear. We have no new music yet, but as soon as there is any, we’ll be sure to post. Check out the tracklist below.
