Solange Covers Dirty Projectors

As if the Knowles family could get any more perfect. Beyonce’s little sister, Solange has covered Dirty Projectors’ “Stillness Is The Move”, and she does a wonderful job. Using the Dr. Dre/Erykah Badu/Isaac Hayes sample, she doesn’t have to stray too far from the original vocal melody to achieve a sound similar to Amber Coffman’s. “Stillness Is The Move” is a track that is balls deep in R&B, so the only question is why did this not happen sooner? You can download Solange’s version below, and since I’ll probably get in trouble if I post the original, you can check out the video instead. As y’all know, Bitte Orca is the album of the year, so if you haven’t picked it up yet, know that the tears I shed at night are caused by you.
