New Avi Buffalo Song + Tour
Written by pistachionut on Sunday, 20 of September , 2009 at 4:32 pm

Tape favorites Avi Buffalo seem to be headed for big things. They just announced a few dates opening for Beach House, and a November 5th gig headlining the Echo. For those who missed them because of issues at the gates of the FYF Fest, this will be the perfect opportunity. In addition to this news, they’ve released a slew of new songs available under the “pay-what-you-want” method. The minimum charge per song is $1, but you’re welcome to send in a donation in any larger amount. The tracks are available in all sorts of high quality formats, including lossless and 320 kbps mp3. To share with you today, we have a low quality version of one of the new tracks, “Raccoon.” It takes a while to build up to the vocals, but when you get there, it’s worth it. Following the tradition of two Bears (Grizzly and Panda), the track edges on the folksy side while maintaining the bedroom charm of their earlier recordings. The songs are all available for download here.
