Javelin Re-Do Julia

I’m usually not one who listens to remixes, I’m generally more of a fan of the original. However, once in a while a remix comes along, that genuinely adds something to a track. “Julia”, a fantastic song of the new Very Best record, has been remixed by Javelin, and it’s absolutely fantastic. Javelin is a hip Brooklyn duo, who have been getting some attention lately. They turned the melodic banger “Julia”, into some kind of surf pop anthem. It’s rather hard to describe, but it’s fantastic nonetheless. The Very Best seem like a rather hard band to remix, because the originals are so fantastic, but Javelin did a great job with this track. Warm Heart Of Africa comes out physically October 6th, although you can purchase it already through Itunes and such.

You really have to buy The Warm Heart Of Africa, it’s an amazing album. I’ll have a review up in a week or two, so stay alert.
