11. Wolf Parade – Apologies to the Queen Mary (2005)
10. Modest Mouse – The Moon & Antarctica (2000)
09. Hot Chip – The Warning (2006)
08. The Strokes – Is This It (2001)
07. Arctic Monkeys – Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not (2006)
06. The Postal Service – Give Up (2003)
05. Bon Iver – For Emma, Forever Ago (2008)
04. Sufjan Stevens – Come On! Feel the Illinoise! (2005)
03. LCD Soundsystem – Sound of Silver (2007)
02. Daft Punk – Discovery (2001)
01. Klaxons – Myths of the Near Future (2007)
As a footnote, these went in terms of most influential for me when they came out, rather than pure quality of the album. Granted, that was still a large part of the decision-making process.
