Dirty Projectors- The Troubadour, 7/8/2009

Shitttt. It’s not even fair anymore. I really have nothing to say about how great this show was. The Troubadour was absolutely packed, and they fucked shit up (the great kind). All the pictures were taken with my phone, so I’m only going to post a couple. I have a set list as well. This show was crazy, everything they do on the album is performed live, which blows my mind. Every member plays an integral role in the way each and every song sounds, which is not what I would have expected, because I often hear them referred to as “Dave’s band”. After this show, I consider that statement blasphemy. If you haven’t seen these crazy kids, I recommend you do, because they put on one hell of a show. They also made the best album of 2009… By far.
