Andrew Bird, Ra Ra Riot, Heartless Bastards- The Greek, 7/10/2009

I didn’t get to take pictures of Andrew Bird, but he put on a relatively boring show. Far less interesting than the opening two acts. Thanks to the #1 homie for the camera. You know who you are.
Heartless Bastards, led by Erika Wennerstrom blew me away. Their form of rock is so solid, it’s hard not to enjoy. She has a great voice and a great backing band as well. They really surprised me, as well as everyone else who had gotten to The Greek at 7:30. I have a load of pictures, so enjoy.
Ra Ra Riot took the stage next, exciting the entire crowd with their intelligent art pop style. Wes Miles has a great voice and is a really cool dude (I had a nice chat with him after their set). Whatever this man does is alright with me. Between Ra Ra Riot and Discovery, this man can do no wrong.
