His Clancyness hails from Italy, but his Myspace says he also spends time in Canada. This dude has been tearing up the blogs lately with his haunting cover of Wavves’ “So Bored”. His version perfectly captures the lo-fi vibe Nathan Williams displays on his version, but flips the song, adding some electronics and making the song just a tad bit more listenable (sorry Nathan, <3 u). Along with that cover, "Nothing And Nowhere To Go" has been floating around as well. This song has a similar style to it. Electronic drums, electric guitar, and some haunting lo-fi vocals. This guy is making this kind of music at the right time, I don't see how this dude won't get big. If you're looking for a summer song, but you can't quite handle the noisiness of Sir Nathan Williams, look no further than His Clancyness.
