The Coast

The Coast are a wonderful band from Canada. Their anticipated full length gets digitally released tomorrow, on Afternoon Records. If you’re not into the whole digital thing, you can pick up a hard copy starting May 5th.
The first single on the album is “Tightrope”, a lovely pop song that has potential to make this band big. Mixing indie pop chants with a bit of electronic instrumentation, this band has found a really pleasing combination between the two. The upcoming album, entitled Expatriate, has a lot of songs that could potentially be hits. A few that come to mind are “Floodlights”, a track that has an absolutely explosive chorus, and “Ceremony Guns”, which when all the parts finally come in, makes for a wonderful track.
