Chemical Brothers, Devendra Banhart, Etienne De Crécy, Daedelus Added To Coachella

Following Amy Wiehouse’s (all too anticipated and predicted) cancellation of her Coachella performance today, the first Coachella “Digital Magazine” was released, revealing The Chemical Brothers, Devendra Banhart, Etienne de Crécy (sometimes known as Superdiscount), The Orb and Murder City Devils have been added to the bill. The newsletter also revealsed Flying Lotus and Daedelus will be performing sets in the reincarnated dance dome. While the obvious big news here is the Chemical Brothers as a big dance act, I’m personally way more excited for Etienne de Crécy’s “Cube” stageshow. Check it out in this video, the lights are absolutely insane.

Obviously the Chemical Brothers will be a huge addition to the lineup and Devendra Banhart is sure to deliver a spectacular show, but I’m expecting this to be one of the highlights of my weekend, especially if it winds up on the main stage. This only amps up the anticipation for the festival, and 38 days is beginning to seem awfully soon. Head to Coachella Digital to check out the rest of the publication.
