Guilty Music Monday #45

Happy MLK day everyone, and an even happier we have a new president tomorrow day.
Let’s start today off with the Blood Beetroots’ remix of “Gives You Hell” by the All-American Rejects. This remix is a bit bland, but it still gets the job done, turning a guilty pleasure into a guilty banger.

Next, we have the first track off of T.I.’s Paper Trail, entitled “56 Barz.” This is your average beat (and your average rap song for that matter), but something I can’t describe attracts me to it. Maybe it’s him mentioning Lupe.
This cover of the beautiful Bon Iver song is a joke, to put it nicely.
Ruby Isle- Skinny Love (Bon Iver Cover)
While The Last Shadow Puppets may have disappointed a lot of people with their debut album, they certainly didn’t disappoint with this fantastic cover.

Ruby Isle is pretty hilarious. What a disservice to Skinny Love. I wonder what they’re trying to do…
