Francis and the Lights are a great up and coming band from Wesleyan. They just released a single (Lime/Wyn) on Cantora Records, home to such bands as MGMT (the Time To Pretend EP) and Rumspringa. They’re for sure on my list of bands to watch in 2009. They rock a Prince meets Hot Chip at the crossroads of funk type vibe. Seriously worth checking out. They’ve made their two EPs available for freedownload, so go visit their site and download them. For real. The video for “The Top” is really fresh, too.
