Music From Entourage: 10/19/08

Last night’s Entourage had especially good musical choices (I know, we’ve said it before, but chill). During a model party for Dolce & Gabana, Dizzee Rascal and Calvin Harris’ single “Dance Wiv Me” blasted through the speakers. The song has been largely overlooked in the US, although congrats to Dizzee for his chart success in the UK.

Later in the episode, A Tribe Called Quest’s “Check the Rhime” lingered in the background as Vince and the crew prepared for a private flight out of Van Nuys airport. Quality.

As the episode closed out, Radiohead’s “Fake Plastic Trees” played softly over Ari’s emotional goodbye with Vince. Thom Yorke’s soft vocals almost brought me to tears, not gonna lie. Brilliant use of the song. They really must be making enough money to afford licensing for almost anything…

I agree. The music was particularly great in this episode, especially Fake Plastic Trees at the end. And Dance wiv Me should have been a huge hit everywhere!

Robin Thicke- “When I get you alone” was a quality song played in there too.
