I’m starting a new column here on the Tape called “Katzenstein Weekly.” It’ll focus on the prolific Katzenstein brothers and their musical creativity. Every Wednesday I’ll post a few tracks of theirs they’ve given me. Today we have Jason Katzenstein’s song, “Indie Chicks.” Sure to be an instant hit among the trendy male crowd, the song disses just about everything currently wrong with female hipster culture. I couldn’t get a copy of the lyrics but be sure to keep your ears peeled for the game that is being spit.

p.s., was the hierarchy line maybe a little tiny bit borrowed from the Say Anything song “Admit It!!!!!!” or is the fact just that wholly and purely true?
