The Tape

The LK

The LK are a pop band from Sweden. You know that means they’re good without me even having to go any further. But I’ll continue to delve. Fun an exciting, “Private Life of a Cat,” jumps around with a spastic horn line and catchy vocals. This band is like Postal Service meets Matt and Kim at the bar where Chris Walla and Ben Gibbard are sharing a drink (yes, a double Ben Gibbard reference). This song is so catchy and highly recommended.

oh my god.
it’s like sweden sat down and asked themselves, “what if ben gibbard could, like, have fun sometimes?” and then inflicted a pop sensibility without sacrificing real emotion.
swedes are totally rad, you have been right the whole time
